JAGUAR

The jaguar (Panthera onca) is a large felid species and the only living member of the genus Panthera native to the Americas. Its distinctively marked coat features pale yellow to tan colored fur covered by spots that transition to darker rosettes on the sides.

About the design

  • 1. CONTOUR OF THE SPOT

The contour of the spot symbolizes the range of this animal. A small spot with a great significance.

  • 2. FUR

The characteristic of this animal is its beautiful fur. Unfortunately, this is also a reason why the animal is hunted.

  • 3. ANGRY EYES

Angry eyes. A logical response from an attacked animal.

  • 4. LIFE AND DEATH

Endangered species have two aspects: life and death. The left side of the animal represents life. It contains an array of vivid colors, as variety is important to us and to our world. The right side represents death. The contours of the skull become visible, as that will be the consequence of our inaction.
